Deadline for all legal notices is 3 July <br /> for the 6.duly issue, <br /> Out n <br /> -mail <br /> Miscellaneous e-mail Hanks to: <br /> I July, to Leslie Fields, URL for ACOE Engineering manual on Confined Disposal of <br /> `edged Material <br /> July, to Leslie Fields, URL for Settling test from EPA Inland Testing Manual <br /> 2, other—Jim Harks. <br /> Funding—Jerry Daly posed a question regarding why we appear to be responsible <br /> for raising the money for matters that are voted on by the Mashpee residents. Mr. <br /> Daly expressed concerns that we are not a money raising organization and perhaps <br /> we spend too much time trying to raise money, in his opinion this is not our <br /> responsibility. This kicked off a broad discussion of comrnission members o <br /> who's in charge essentially to find funds, not only for the Town's dredging needs <br /> but ah of the needs that arise through the Waterways fleeting . <br /> 'mater Testing—Jing Hanks. <br /> Jim informed everyone that e-mails were sent out to aH conunission members <br /> about thewater-testing coming up on Monday at 5:15 a.m. for hose who are <br /> planning to take part. High tide is to be at 4:1.8 a.m. on this day. <br /> Herb Silver mentioned that he has Learned that in the Falmouth Public Schools, <br /> part of their Science curriculum is tang part in the water testing and perhaps we <br /> could look into contacting Mashpee ugh School to see if there is student/faculty <br /> interest in participating in our water testing. Jim. Hanks stated his only concern <br /> was in limiting the number of volunteers involved in our program, continuity is <br /> also important. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> Gerald Daly motioned to adjourn the meeting; Herb Silver seconded the motion <br /> and all other conision members voted in favor.
