Funding—Jerry Daly posed a question regarding why we appear to be responsible for raising the money for matters that are voted on by the Mashpee residents. Mr. Daly expressed concerns that we are not a money raising organization and perhaps we spend too much time trying to raise money, in his opinion this is not our responsibility. This kicked off a broad discussion of comrnission members o who's in charge essentially to find funds, not only for the Town's dredging needs but ah of the needs that arise through the Waterways fleeting . 'mater Testing—Jing Hanks. Jim informed everyone that e-mails were sent out to aH conunission members about thewater-testing coming up on Monday at 5:15 a.m. for hose who are planning to take part. High tide is to be at 4:1.8 a.m. on this day. Herb Silver mentioned that he has Learned that in the Falmouth Public Schools, part of their Science curriculum is tang part in the water testing and perhaps we could look into contacting Mashpee ugh School to see if there is student/faculty interest in participating in our water testing. Jim. Hanks stated his only concern was in limiting the number of volunteers involved in our program, continuity is also important. ADJOURNMENT Gerald Daly motioned to adjourn the meeting; Herb Silver seconded the motion and all other conision members voted in favor.
