Woods Hole Group <br /> None <br /> Other <br /> None <br /> utin <br /> Letters <br /> None <br /> -mail <br /> None <br /> 2. other Business <br /> Tim Leedham. informed the Water-ways Commission members that he has been asked by the town <br /> to participate as a member of the Mashpee Local Multiple Hazard Community Planning Team to <br /> create a natural disaster plan for the Town of Mashpee. The plan includes the protection and <br /> maintenance of waterways. Erie Smith, Assistant Town Planner, is the Chairman of this <br /> committee. The federal government wants towns to have a plan in place for natural disasters. <br /> Towns that do not have a plan may lose federal dollars when a disaster strikes. Meetings are held <br /> the third Thursday of the month at 2 pm in Torn Hall. This topic will become a regular item on <br /> the Waterways Conrrrmission agenda. <br /> Finally, John S art Baugh informed commission members that the Town of Mashpee is seeking <br /> to televise as many of the town commission meetings as possible. In light of this, every other <br /> Waterways Commission meeting will be televised beginning with the October 7, 2003etin . <br /> g <br /> Televised meetings will be held in Conference Room I at Town Hall. <br /> At this point, Tim Hanks made a motion to adjourn the meeting; Herb Silver seconded the <br /> motion.
