Public Comment: Ed Baker urged passage o `land swap's Articles 17 and 22 <br /> on the upcoming Town fleeting warrant. He also asked whether the waterways Collmlission <br /> focus had changed, noting that `water quality" was listed as ars agenda item. Jim Hanks reported <br /> that the agenda item was meant to read ` rater quality update" and that the waterways <br /> Commission focus of"advising the selectmen"' on issues impacting navigation had not changed. <br /> 2. Review of Minutes—Ther mutes from 2 September 2003 were reviewed. Jim Hank <br /> moved they be accepted as written. Bill Taylor seconded the motion. The motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> 1. Harbormaster Report-1 en Ellis - Ferry Ellis was unable to make the meeting, so no report <br /> was given. <br /> 2. Shellfish Constable Report--Rick York -Rick reported that scallop seasonl ened with loo <br /> people. Thirty bushels were taken, which was not as good as the previous year. Rick noted that <br /> the scallops are tougher to find this year. He said the water was still warm, there were lots offish <br /> by the waquoit jetty., and that unseeded areas had few scallops.
