C. New Building: The Harbormaster has some ideas on the <br /> construction, noting there can he no toilet nor running water. <br /> Mr. Hanks asked if, we should form a committee to support this <br /> project. Mr. Ellis will qo before the Capital Im rFover ents <br /> Committee first. Will ' s work Road was suggested as a possible <br /> site, and Mr. Ellis would like to build a small marina in this <br /> area. Dr. Gordon suggested the town property next to Little <br /> River Boatyard as the site since it could be up in weeks after <br /> permits are in order. Mr. Hanks suggested we could plan a <br /> building and the Harbormaster define requirements as a starting <br /> -point* Do we want a dinghy dock? Mr. Ellis suggested to wait <br /> until after Town Meeting. A motion was made and seconded to <br /> table this issue. Unanimous, <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> i <br /> 1 . Aquaculture Issues: Mr. Hanks distributed a handout re: <br /> Aquaculture stating that the State is trying to promote a new <br /> industry for fishermen. Mr. Hanks asked what do we want to <br /> do about it; it could effect mooring fields and Rick York' s <br /> trays. Mr. Ellis suggested establish some areas for floating <br /> aquaculture, and people can get a grant. Mr. Silver stated <br /> that if the State is interested in developing this industry, <br /> thea Mashpee should be open. This may be very political in <br /> the future. Dr. Gordon stated that this would take up acres <br /> of space and it doesn't pay that much. Mr. York suggested <br /> deciding case by case similar to docks since he ' feels it is <br /> a multi-million dollar industry,. <br /> Mr* Hanks stated he recei ed. a Memo re: the open Meeting Law <br /> changes. He will have it xeroxed and distributed for the next <br /> meeting, Mr. Hanks stated Jack Shepherd sent hire the Mashee- <br /> Ta.keby regulations which will go before the Public Access Hoard. <br /> He will 'xerox and distribute to everyone. Mr, Hanks asked if <br /> we should form a committee to discuss moorings regulations, <br /> waterways regulations, and Mash ee-wakeby regulations.
