Page 1 <br /> Town Hall Building Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> January 9, 1997 <br /> Present: Jim Vaccaro, Ray Martini, Charles Buckingham,Bob Fox <br /> Executive Secretary Robert Whritenour <br /> Assistant Executive Secretary Joyce Mason <br /> Guests: Jeanine Delongchamp- Strekalovsky and Hoit,Inc. <br /> Len Paoletta-D'Agostino Associates <br /> Kenneth Marsters- Board of Selectmen liaison <br /> Bill Hauck-Building Inspector <br /> Cynthia Sturges- Community Development Administrator <br /> Greg Taylor-Director of Public Works <br /> David Gray-Project Representative <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Vaccaro at 2:40 p.m. <br /> Town Hall Conference Trailer. <br /> MINUTES: <br /> Monday,December 30. 1996: <br /> Amendment: Page one,fourth paragraph to read: ADA services. <br /> Motion made by Mr. Buckingham to approve the minutes of <br /> Monday, December 30, 1996 as amended. <br /> Motion seconded by Mr. Martini. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 3-0. <br /> Mr. Fox absent for vote. <br /> REPORT OF THE ARCHITECT: <br /> 1.en Paoletta, Project Superintendent gave.an update to the Committee <br /> with regards to general construction activities, and projected occupancy <br /> of the Town Hall facility. <br /> Bill Hauck, Building Inspector discussed concerns relative to the <br /> completion of corrective work necessary for the temporary occupancy <br /> permit. <br /> Mr.Hauck indicated that he will not issue a temporary occupancy permit <br /> until all corrective issues have been resolved and fully inspected. <br /> In response to Mr. Hauck's concerns, Strekalovsky and Hoit submitted <br /> correspondence to the Building Inspector dated January 6, 1997 addressing <br /> the issue of Stair No. 1 as a compliance alterative under Article 32 of <br /> the Massachusetts Building Code. (enclosed) <br /> In addition,revisions to the Fire Wall were also verified by the Architect, <br /> and submitted to the Building Inspector. (enclosed) <br />
