Town Hall Building Committee 2 <br /> Minutes <br /> August 5, 1997 <br /> Ili TOWN HALL CONSTRUCTION PROJECT REVIEW <br /> Mr. Hoit indicated that cost adjustments can be made to back charge <br /> the contractor by making deductions from his payment requisition. <br /> Discussion followed with regards to outstanding construction issues <br /> to be satisfactorily completed by Strekalovsky and Hoit, Inc. <br /> Mr: Hoit indicated that he has scheduled a walk-through on Friday, <br /> August 8, 1997 at 10:00 a.m. with the HVAC engineer, and an <br /> independent engineer to review the installation, calculations and systems <br /> design. The independent consultant will report directly to the Town <br /> informed Mr. Hoit. <br /> Mr. Martini and Mr. Taylor were requested to be present for the <br /> walk-through. Mr. Hoit was directed to confirm the scheduled <br /> inspection review with Mrs. Mason. <br /> It was noted that D'Agostino Associates is in possession of the <br /> operations manuals, and as-built drawings for the plumbing, sprinkler, <br /> and electrical systems. <br /> Mr. Hoit also indicated that a representative from the manufacturer <br /> of the brick cleaning product will conduct an on site inspection on <br /> Friday, August 8, 1997. <br /> Len Paoletta was requested to be on site on Friday,August 8, 1997 <br /> for the walk-through and inspection process. <br /> Capeway will be on site this week to correct all roof repairs informed <br /> Mr. Hoit. It was noted that D'Agostino Associates will be back <br /> charged for all roof areas to be repaired other than the shingled roof <br /> to be corrected by Capeway. <br /> Mrs. Mason presented a memo to Mr. Hoit relative to the placement <br /> of additional electrical outlets. <br /> It was noted that the directory signage has been installed. At this <br /> time, the kitchen area is being repaired to conform to handicap accessibility <br /> requirements. In addition, the knurled door knobs and cane guards are <br /> scheduled to be installed by Mr. Hoit's subcontractor. <br />
