MM=ES-1 Jb1ffEJgL Mays,199j Motion made by Mr.Martini to approve the minutes of Thursday, y -May.. , 1997 as presented. Motion seconded by Mr. Buckingham. Y_Q1E: Unanimous. 4-0. REPORT-OF-THE ARCFHTECT-+ Roger Hoit, Project Architect for the Town Hall renovation/restoration project reviewed the final-project issues required for completion. As noted,the general punch list of interior items outstanding is near final completion. Mr.Holtwill address the interior code requirements with Bill Hauch, Inspector of Buildings by the date of Wednesday, May 28, 1997_ Exterior site conditions to be addressed by l 'Ago tixro Associates include, the disturbed areas around the perimeter of the Town Hall Building and rear lawn area disrupted during the general con tructi n process. General exterior site painting is scheduled to begin this weekend. The replacement or repair of outside facia boards will be determined during this phase of the project scope. As noted, all brick areas that contained fight fixtures that will not be replaced,will be repaired by the general contractor. Discussion followed with regards to the exterior rails to be installed around the exposed lower levels windows. Mr. Hoit recommended the Committee authorize the installation of a 3'rail c6ns'tsfing of a 2x4''heaver gauge vire and mesh to conform to building code requirements. *Approved. All areas will be painted gray to match the exposed exterior wali of the building.
