2 Town Hall Building Committee Minutes June 4, 1997 CQMMMTY--D,—EYELO—PhffM-UP Cynthia Sturges, Community Development Administrator gave an update to the Committee with respect to grant compliance issues against CERC ,, a sub-contracting painting firm that warranted additional review. Mrs. Sturges indicated that the matter has not yet been fully resolved. Funds earmarked for the Town Hall portion of the handicap accessibility grant will not be released until this matter has been fly resolved. In other business, the Committee received a demand for direct payment from The Cheviot Corporation dated May 15, 1997. Payment in the arnount of$26,200 was requested for materials and labor to date. The Cheviot Corporation installed acoustical the ceiling in the newly renovated Ton Hall facility. REFQRT OF TBE ARCFHIECT/GENERAL CQNIRACi J Roger Holt,Project Architect and Len 1 aoletta, Project Superintendent g were present to discuss the status of the Ton Hall construction project with members of the Town Hall Building Committee. Chairman Vaccaro indicated that most of the interior site punch list items have been completed to date. The two main items of concern _ include the basement for use as active storage, and the clewing of the exterior brief. Mr. Vaccaro requested that filler material he installed to cover the gap between the stairway as noted in the initial punch list of May 1, 1997. Discussion followed with regards to the HVAC system. Mr. Holt indicated that he will famish documentation to the Town relative to the operational procedure for the heating and ventilation system.. The project engineer and a representative from the heating firm Va'11 conduct a complete systems demonstration indicated Mr. Holt. Mr. Martini, Mr. Hauch and Mr. Taylor were requested to he present to discuss the as hunts, and general maintenance and operation procedures.
