Roger I- oit- Strekalovsky and Holt, Inc. <br /> John Swenson-Project representative <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Vaccaro at 2:08 p.m. <br /> Carol Jacobson Senior Center <br /> 1lMTS_� <br /> Thursday., July_2 . 129 : <br /> Mr.Fox requested to amend the minutes to reflect on page one under <br /> Communication from the Building Inspector, to read: Bill Hauck was <br /> present to recommend the outside electrical panel be made impermeable <br /> by water to be protected from the weather. See attached memo from the <br /> Building Inspector. (enclosed) <br /> Notion Ornade by Mr. Buckingham to approve the minutes of <br /> Thursday, July 2 , 1996 as amended. <br /> Notion seconded by Mr. Fox. <br /> VQTE. <br /> Unanimous. -o. <br /> PRS'OF THE PROJECT REPRESENTATIVE: <br /> John Swenson indicated that he subnmitted notice on this date to the <br /> general contractor-, D'Agostino Associates requesting the following; <br /> Article 10: Protection of Persons and Property Safety Precautions <br /> and Programs: (00700-23) <br /> 8/1/96: Per applicable sections of both the governing building codes, <br /> and Article 10 of the general conditions of the contract for construction, <br /> you are directed to secure and make safe all areas of the construction site. <br /> It was noted that several masonry panels have been removed which <br /> represents an unsafe site condition during the construction process. <br /> Mr. Swenson indicated that Mr.Paoletta refused to sign the document. <br /> He stated that he was in the process of perforrm*ng the above. It was noted <br /> that the general contractor was also cautioned on the issue of safety on <br /> July 1, 19 9 6. <br /> llr.Holt indicated that he is in receipt of the notice and will actively <br /> pursue action to make the site condition safe and secure as requested. <br />
