5 <br /> N <br /> Page 2 <br /> Town hall Building Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> September 5, 1996 <br /> REPORT OF THE Ari <br /> Discussion followed with regards to the budget of the Town Hall <br /> construction project and related fees for additional expenditures. <br /> It was noted that the small hydraulic lift to be located adjacent to the <br /> Office of the Treasurer for access to storage supplies will be deferred <br /> until budget funding is further defined. <br /> The Committee requested the Architect submit a separate itemized figure <br /> for the removal of the underground fuel storage tants. The funds were <br /> previously approved and appropriated at Town Meeting. <br /> It was noted that the sung of$6,000 was appropriated for the above. <br /> Mr. Paoletta estimated the sum of$4,000 for the tank demolition process. <br /> Ms.Delongcharnp stated that additional funds are necessary to <br /> backfill and asphalt the area. It was noted that as a result of unknown site <br /> conditions, a hazardous material abatement may also be a required project <br /> expenditure. <br /> Chairman Vaccaro requested the architect furnish budget projections <br /> for the rental of the portable office trailers, storage trailers, and project <br /> representative fees through the month of November. <br /> Discussion followed with respect to the project alternates as approved, <br /> and the repair of the roof area as defined in the project scope. In unison, <br /> the ConurAttee indicated that Roger holt,Project Architect stated that the <br /> roof as it currently exists will be repaired, and made water tight. <br /> Ms.Delongchamp indicated that the repair of the goof is not included <br /> in the project scope.
