Page 2 'porn Hail Building Connittee Minute October 30, 1996 REPORT-OF THE ARCHITE Mr.Hoit requested the Executive Secretary verify the sprinkler system as authorized to Mnclude all heads and related piping for operation. It was noted that Town Meeting action approved the connection of public water supply to the'Town Hail facility in October of 1996. Mr. whritenour indicated that the sung of$10,000 has been placed in the'down Mall Building Committee's account for the purpose of completing the sprinkler system. It was noted that$6,000- $5,000 i ro`ected to projected complete all heady and connection for an operable sprirMer system. At the next meeting, the Architect will present an approved layout of the sprinkler system to the Committee for approval to be reflected as Change Order## . Discussion followed with regards to the computer system connection. It was noted that a Network Administrator has been hired by the Town, and will assume duties on November 12,1996. Mr.whritenour indicated that Steven Buss will offer technical support during this phase of the project scope. Funds currently exist in the computer budget to support the systems connection. It was noted that the front entrance exterior site condition will be paged for operational use. The exterior portion of the building will be paved Mn the spring. At that time, the final coat of asphalt will be addressed. In addition,the Town Accountant submitted a revised financial statement to the Committee for review dated October 30, 1996. (enclosed) The Committee also received the Project eresentative's daily reports dated October 7, 199 6 through October 11, 1996, and October 14, 1996 through October 1 , 1996, (enclosed) Mrs. Mason indicated that she is currently reviewing cost estimates for the transfer of furnishings from the portable office units into the newly renovated Town Hall facility.
