Page 2 Town IaII Budding Co ttee minutes December 18, 1996 REMR1 of THE AR THE- C M. Mr.Paoletta indicated that Riordan has increased on site manpower to total of five tradesmen. It was noted that eight workers are required on site to meet contractual obligations. In response,Mr.Dolt recommended that DAgostino employ supplemental electrical services, and direct the electrical subcontractor to install temporary light Mures in the newly renovated facility if shipment has not arrived by Friday of this week. Under general contract conditions,the general contractor can augment his manpower to reach compliance with the building schedule indicated Mr.Hoit who recommended that this matter be addressed promptly. In other business,Fire Chief George Baker indicated that he is scheduled to review completed fire suppression design plans for the Town Ball facility on Friday,December 2o, 1996. Chief Baker related concerns with respect to the installation of the ceiling tiles, and potential damage if the systema were to leak. It is necessary for the Fire Ieparunent to witness that each section of the system is tight. Mr. Baker requested Mr.Paoletta notify his department of testing activities for appropriate sign off approval. The final plans for the fire alarm system are also scheduled for review. Chief Baker indicated that he is concerned with the electrical layout as it des in with the sprinkler system installation. In response to the above,Mr. Hoit indicated that all design issues will be addressed in the fmaJ schematic design. Steven Buss,the Network Adhrnistrator discussed the computer qh conversion process with members of the Committee. Mr. Paolett indicated that he needs to complete minor renovations to the data processing room prior to occupancy. He will address this matter promptly. The Committee has projected to occupy:the Town I-Iall building, and conduct the moving process on January 6, and 7, 1997. 1t was noted that the anticipated move is pending that all electrical requirements have been net and appropriately signed off. W.whritenour will discuss the move as anticipated with members o the Board of Selectmen. Mr. Buss indicated that it is necessary to shut down all network communications for at lust one clay to complete the move, and conduct related testing requirements.
