Collins <br /> Attendees: Jeff Gregg,Lenna Quackenbush,Anastasia Rudenko, GHD, Inc. <br /> Meeting Called to Order: 5:00 p.m.—Popponesset Meeting Room,Mashpee Town Hall <br /> Approval of Minutes: November 16,2017, October 25,November 15 and December 6,2018,February 7, 2019 <br /> February 7, 2019: <br /> Motion made by Mr. Pittsley to approve the minutes of February 7,2019 as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Mr.Lyons. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 3-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Mr. Fudala,yes Mr.Lyons,yes Mr.Pittsley,yes Opposed, none <br /> Status of Final Plan: <br /> The Watershed Nitrogen Management Plan has received all necessary approvals.No implementation has begun <br /> other than limited shellfish propagation and WWTP preliminary design. <br /> FY2020 Budget status report from Town Manager <br /> Status of Sewer Commission Administrator position: It was reported the Town is likely, subject to execution of <br /> warrant,to approve the services of a Sewer Consultant. It was recommended the Sewer Commission provide a <br /> scope of sei vices for the Sewer Consultant contingent upon the passage of the $100,000 Sewer Consultant <br /> article. Discussion followed regarding the Sewer Consultant position. However, it may not be necessary to <br /> employ a Sewer Consultant at this time as the Town is utilizing the services of GHD, Inc. <br /> The Town Manager is expected to fill the Town Engineer/Assistant DPW Director position after the May Town <br /> Meeting. It is anticipated this position under the direction of the DPW Director would provide services to <br /> Sewer Commission as required. <br /> A brief discussion followed with respect to the proposed Towel Meeting articles planned to fund the completion <br /> of Phase I; $1,640,000 to complete the design of the sewer collection system to be connected to the municipal <br /> wastewater treatment plant and to complete Phase 1; $840,000 to complete the design of Phase 1 of the <br /> municipal treatment plant. Borrowing authorization is contingent upon the passage of a debt exclusion. <br /> With regards to the services of GHD,Inc. it was re-affirmed the proposed Town Meeting warrant articles are <br /> intended to be fielded for the specific task of design. <br />
