6 <br /> Board of Selectmen *DRAFT` <br /> Minutes <br /> May 20, 2019 <br /> Update on Events at Mashpee Commons: Mar Derr: <br /> Additional events include sidewalk sales, a First Fridays Concert Series from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 <br /> p.m. in Central Square and live performances at the Mashpee Commons Bandstand. During a few <br /> of the bandstand events, a petitioned beer garden area would provide beverages from a caterer <br /> who would hold a state liquor license. All necessary permissions and permitting would be <br /> obtained before proceeding with this type of event and police detail would be included if required. <br /> A plaza party of events will include music and dance instruction in Central Square from 12:00 <br /> P.M. to 6:00 p.m. Fall/Winter events include the annual Halloween Parade on October 26th, and <br /> Holiday events from November 291h through December 23rd. A tree lighting ceremony will kick <br /> off the Holidayevents on November 29t". All Holiday events are similar to past ears which <br /> Y P Y <br /> include carolers and carriage rides. <br /> The Board of Selectmen expressed appreciation to Mashpee Commons for their contributions to <br /> the Mashpee community. <br /> Discussion and Approval of the Following Marijuana CultivationlProduct Manufacturing Host <br /> Community Agreements: <br /> CCC Mash ee Holdings LLC: <br /> The Board of Selectmen met with John W. Kenney, representing attorney for CCC Mashpee <br /> Holdings, LLC regarding their intent to operate a licensed Marijuana Cultivation and Product <br /> Manufacturing Establishment at 79 Echo Road, Mashpee. <br /> The Limited Liability Corporation is in varying licensing stages to operate a similar type of <br /> establishment in wellfleet and in South Boston and Brighton. The applicant previously <br /> participated in the application process for the Host Community Agreement for the sale of <br /> recreational cannabis in the Town of Mashpee. <br /> CCC Mashpee Holding, LLC is seeking to cultivate within a grow facility less than 10,000 square <br /> feet to circumvent the DRI process that would be imposed by the Cape Cod Commission. <br /> It was disclosed, the boiler plate application was drafted by Town Counsel and presented openly <br /> to all applicants expressing an interest, Town Counsel has reviewed the (2) applications. The <br /> terms and conditions are agreeable to both parties. In the prior selection process, each applicant <br /> previously submitted a proposal to the Town with complete information detailing the principals <br /> and plans, etc. to open and operate a marijuana retail establishment in Mashpee. All pertinent <br /> documentation is on file in the Town Manager's Office. <br />
