Minutes of Meeting of <br /> Mashpee Plan Review Committee <br /> Held Tuesday, May 21, 2019 <br /> Mashpee Town Hall Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> There is an existing Title V septic system where the primary and the reserve have <br /> been installed. There is a directional that diverts from one system to the other. The <br /> existing facility will remain open during construction and one of the current septic <br /> systems will remain functional during construction while the other is removed and <br /> accommodate the flow with the Geiger system. The new system will then be <br /> upgraded. <br /> The landscaping will have low lying shrubs and perennials to accommodate the <br /> State requirement regulations. <br /> Scott Carline, Police Chief <br /> He and his staff met with Mr. Vaccaro and addressed the traffic concerns. He likes <br /> the idea of appointment scheduling to the facility, and will gauge some of the traffic <br /> flow. His questions were addressed. He had no other questions. <br /> Catherine Laurent DPW Director <br /> She asked if there will be signage at the gate to direct customers. Raul said <br /> everyone is required to stop at the gate and will be directed by a guard. The guard <br /> will be in the guard house year round. Raul said that there will be signage posted <br /> one way in and one way out. Catherine asked about the deliveries to the facility. <br /> Raul pointed out on the site plan how the deliveries will be made, and that there <br /> will be a schedule of those deliveries. Raul said that there will not be a dumpster <br /> outside because it is not allowed. There will be a trash pickup service to the facility. <br /> Glen Harrington. Board of Health Agent <br /> He asked about the new septic system plan. Raul said there will be two chambers <br /> with fresh-stone for the addition and expansion of the sewage flow. There will be <br /> a third chamber, but the intension is to remove what is there and install a tank. The <br /> D boxes will be reset. Glen asked if the system is designed for a straight square <br /> footage. Raul said; yes it is based upon 7400 sq. ft. of retail use, and the proposed <br /> size is based on the square footage of the stone around the chamber that is good <br /> enough for 414 gallons. <br /> Glen asked what the use was for inside the facility. The Board adopted the new <br /> regulation, but a permit will be required for the recreational marijuana. Glen asked <br /> if there will be some separation between the two businesses inside the building. <br /> The applicant said; the law requires a physical separation between the two. There <br /> will be one entrance for both but there will be two doors within the entrance. Glen <br /> asked if there will be someone to direct and distinguish between the identifications. <br /> The applicant said that the guard will ask for a medical card or a driver's license. <br /> The medical.side will be expedited. Glen asked if there will be deliveries from the <br /> facility.. <br /> 2 <br />
