TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> BOARD OF ASSESSORS - EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> Minutes of the Meeting of Wednesday, March 13, 2019 <br /> Board Members Present: Also Present: <br /> Paul Andrews, Chairman Jason Streebel, Director of Assessing <br /> Gregg Fraser, Vice Chairman <br /> John Bartos, Clerk <br /> The Executive Session of the Board of Assessors convened at 6:00 PM. <br /> Willowbend Abatement Request Consideration <br /> The Board requested that the Director present any information regarding any important <br /> circumstances on the list of abatements before the Board. Jason Streebel explained his <br /> recommendation that the board abate Southworth Cape Develop LLC's property at 0 <br /> Sampson's Mill Rd.(Map 63-Pcl 89) to its Fiscal Year 2018 value. The vacant parcel had <br /> previously been assessed as unbuildable but that status changed to buildable as <br /> determined by the Building and Planning Departments after the assessment date of <br /> January 1 s`, 2018. Therefore, it was more appropriate for the classification and <br /> assessment to change for Fiscal Year 2020 rather than for Fiscal Year 2019. The Board <br /> had no further questions regarding the abatement applications and decided to adjourn to <br /> open session. <br /> Gregg Fraser made a motion that the Board of Assessors adjourn the Executive Session <br /> and return to the Public Session. <br /> Roll Call Vote: Paul Andrews, yes; John Bartos, yes; Gregg Fraser, yes. <br /> The motion was unanimously approved.
