Collins <br /> Assistant Town Manager Wayne E. Taylor <br /> Meeting Called to order by Chairman Gottlieb at 7:11 p.m. <br /> Mashpee Town Hall, Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> Discussion re g ardin u corrin contract..."e otiations with collective bargaining,units: <br /> Rodney C. Collins, Town Manager indicated the collective bargaining process is scheduled <br /> to begin on December 1, 2016. Negotiations will be conducted with all units having contracts <br /> due to expire on June 30, 2017. The Board was requested to provide input with respect to the <br /> perimeters of negotiation. All union negotiations will be conducted by the Town Manager to include when <br /> necessary; labor counsel. <br /> The Board of Selectmen requested the Town Manager consider, but not be limited to the following <br /> structural items contained in collective bargaining negotiations. This includes the review of benefits, accrued <br /> sick time to amend as consolidated leave time, presenting a sick leave cap to alleviate sick time abuse, limit <br /> carry-over to limit the Town's unfunded liability, amending the 75125 health insurance contribution to 50150 or <br /> 70130 and to eliminate longevity, buy-outs, and steps. It was also agreed that contracts should <br /> not automatically assume'that retroactive pay would be funded if negotiations have not been met. <br /> In addition, it was agreed language changes to existing contracts would be realized. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> Motion made by Selectman Sherman to adjourn at 5:09 p.m, <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cotton. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman Cahalane,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes <br /> Selectman Cotton, yes Selectman Sherman,yes opposed, none <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Kathleen M.
