<br /> To see if the Town will vote to accept the layouts as public ways of Leatherleaf Lane,Bog River
<br /> .Bend, Miller Farm Road and Ferngully Pass (Childs River East), as shown on plans entitled
<br /> "Road Taking Plan Leather Leaf Road", "Road Taking Plan Bog River Bend" and "Road Taking
<br /> Plan Fern Gully Pass&Miller Farm Road"in Mashpee MA, dated January 31,2018, and prepared
<br /> by Cape & Islands Engineering, which layouts shall have been filed in the Office of the Town
<br /> Clerk not later than seven days prior to the date of vote hereunder, and to authorize the Board of
<br /> Selectmen to acquire by gift, purchase, or eminent domain taking any land necessary for the
<br /> purposes of such ways as so laid out, and, further, to appropriate the sum of$408,030.00 to the
<br /> Child's River East Roadways Account, and to raise said appropriation, the Treasurer, with the
<br /> approval of the Board of Selectmen, be authorized to borrow at one time, or from time to time,
<br /> under and pursuant to Chapter 44 Section 7 or 8, or any other enabling authority for such purchase
<br /> or taking and layout, including costs of constructing such ways, and legal financing, and other
<br /> costs incidental and related thereto, and farther authorize the Board of Selectmen to assess
<br /> betterments to the owners of the land abutting the ways. Any premium received by the Town upon
<br /> the sale of any bonds or notes approved by this vote,less any such premium applied to the payment
<br /> of the costs of issuance of such bonds or notes, may be applied'to the payment of costs approved
<br /> by this vote in accordance with Chapter 44, Section 20 of the General Laws,thereby reducing the
<br /> amount authorized to be borrowed to pay such costs by a like amount, or take any other action
<br /> relating thereto.

<br /> The Board of Selectmen recommends approval of Article 29by a vote of 4-0.
<br /> The Finance Committee recommends approval of Article 29 by a vote of 6-0.
