*DRAFT* Board of Selectmen Minutes July 8, 2019 Discussion Aroyal and Ratification of the Dispatch atch A regiment with the Barnstable Count Sheriff s Department: Fire Chief Thomas Rullo: Fire Chief Thomas C. Rullo presented the proposed Barnstable County Sheriff s Office (BCSO) Dispatch Contract for mutual responsibilities of the BCSO and the Town of Mashpee in the cooperative operation of a primary fire department dispatch system with the Town of Mashpee from July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020. The combined fee for Fire Dispatch and CMED services for fiscal year 2020 is $118,753.45. This represents 14% increase from FY 19. Discussion followed regarding the renewal of the contractual agreement and associated costs to the Town of Mashpee. Motion made by Selectman Cotton to request the Town Manager and Fire Chief to evaluate options relative to Fire Department dispatch, and further to invite the Sheriff and/or Deputy Sheriff to attend the next meeting to continue discussions regarding dispatch. Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0.
