O'Hara,yes <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes opposed, none <br /> Public Hearin —Proposed Parkinja,Ban on Surf Drive Tradewind Drive Leeshore Drive Sextant Circle Sand <br /> Wgy, Driftwood Wqy, Barnacle Lane and Albatross Circle: <br /> The Board of Selectmen opened the Public Hearing on the proposed parking ban on Surf Drive, Tradewind <br /> Drive, Leeshore Drive, Sextant Circle,-Sandy way, Driftwood way, Barnacle Lane and Albatross Circle. In <br /> accordance with posting procedures the hearing notice was read aloud into the record. <br /> Ray Levendusky,Vice-President of the Seabrook Village Association-was in attendance to review the proposed <br /> parking ban located off Red Brook Road with Surf Drive serving as the access/egress to the subdivision. <br /> Mr. Levendusky requested the Selectmen's consideration to restrict overnight parking in the subdivision which is <br /> now a public way. It was noted that road conditions are very good however there are narrow-areas and- <br /> noticeable blind spots which pose a safety hazard at night. Lighting.is-also minimal and parldng on the <br /> subdivision streets is generally avoided. <br /> Mr. Levendusky indicated in accord with the Declaration of Covenants and Bylaws for the association, overnight <br /> parking is not permitted. The 2006 regulation has been well respected in the neighborhood and it was voted <br /> upon and approved by a majority of the (157) association members. <br /> The Public Hearing notice was noted to be posted on the Sea Brook Village Association's website. with no <br /> public comment,the Board agreed to continue the Public Hearing to Monday, October 7, 2019 to adequately <br /> notify all the residents. Mr. Levendusky was in agreement stating in September,the association meeting is <br /> regularly held, The announcement of the September meeting is sent to all residents via certified mail. Residents <br /> would be fully aware of the proposed parking ban in preparation for the Board of Selectmen's.Public Hearing in <br /> October. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Sherman to continue the Public Hearing on the proposed Parking Ban in <br /> Seaward Village to Monday, October 7,2019. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cotton, <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes opposed, none <br /> 3 <br />
