Mr. DeDecko questioned whether any residents or com- plexes are receiving support from the town for contaminated water. Ir. Greelish responded, no. Mr, DeDecko questioned whether this Board can require the complex o cap the wells that were not contaminated. r# Doherty responded, where there is a public or semi-public water- supply this Board can legally require all wells, servicing the complex, to be capped "It would be uneconomical and unfeasible to monitor the wells for v.o.c. 1 s too on a quarterly basis. Shanie Simmons was unable to attend the meeting, however Ms, Dot Cash was present representing the Cape & Is- land Partnership to Reduce Substance Abuseo . Cash stated she is present this evening to request a member of this Board to volunteer their- services as a commit- tee member, Ms, Cash presented to Board members a linear chart of the organization and its administrative relation- ships within the Partnership.. 'The Sheriff's Depte was. awarded a five year, 1,8 million dollar grant, to fund the Partnership.
