" <br /> Mr, Doherty commented the d com lex is paying for f ire ,, <br /> protection, 1 11 . F% - <br /> r. Costa recommended reducing the number of meters. <br /> Mr. DeDecko questioned whether any residents or com- <br /> plexes are receiving support from the town for contaminated <br /> water. <br /> Ir. Greelish responded, no. <br /> Mr, DeDecko questioned whether this Board can require <br /> the complex o cap the wells that were not contaminated. <br /> r# Doherty responded, where there is a public or <br /> semi-public water- supply this Board can legally require all <br /> wells, servicing the complex, to be capped "It would be <br /> uneconomical and unfeasible to monitor the wells for v.o.c. 1 s <br /> too on a quarterly basis. " <br /> Mr, Greelish and Mr, Costas agreed to discuss the matter <br /> with the Condominium Trust, <br /> i <br /> APROIN M N ': Shanie Simmons - Substance Abuse Committee <br /> i Pis. Shanie Simmons was unable to attend the meeting, <br /> however Ms, Dot Cash was present representing the Cape & Is- <br /> land Partnership to Reduce Substance Abuseo <br /> . Cash stated she is present this evening to request a <br /> member of this Board to volunteer their- services as a commit- <br /> tee member, Ms, Cash presented to Board members a linear <br /> chart of the organization and its administrative relation- <br /> ships within the Partnership.. 'The Sheriff's Depte was. <br /> awarded a five year, 1,8 million dollar grant, to fund the <br /> Partnership. " "Each town will be asked to setup. a substance <br /> prevention committee,* " "We have requested various indi- <br /> viduals <br /> ndi- <br /> iduals and town department heads to join the Partnershi <br />
