"We have a problem with local regulations <br /> which require a- larger system than Title V. 11 <br /> Mr, Costa expressed his concern with this Board granting <br /> the proper relief as a complex which was previously con- <br /> structed with minimum septage requirements has had numerous <br /> problems. <br /> Nor. Greelish questioned where this project stands in re- <br /> gards to provisions for town water. <br /> Mr. McQuaid informed Mr, Covell this Board is recommend- <br /> ing the developer lay the mains through the subdivision so <br /> that when town water becomes available it will be that much <br /> easier for the homeowner to tie in. "This project is not in- <br /> what this Board considers a most probable impact area from <br /> the J, Thompson Crocker property in Sandwich nor from the FS1 + <br /> spill* " <br /> Mr, Greelish commented the main will have to go right by <br /> this property to service those areas. <br /> X W _ <br /> f f f <br /> Mr, Covell stated he4L has- 'roetained a hyq g dro g eolo ist to <br /> research the area. "A financial agreement -was arranged, wi th, -the , Water <br /> District which resulted in very low costs. , <br /> Mr. Covell explained it would be economically infeasible <br /> to install water mains. <br /> Mr, Doherty -questioned whether 1500 gallon septic tants <br /> would be installed, <br /> Mr. Covell responded, yes, <br /> Mr, Al. Elloin stated it not economically feasible to in- <br /> stall a water line that will not be used for a while,. "We <br /> would perform the labor if the Water District were to furnish <br /> the line. " <br /> Mr, Covell stated he spore with the Water District Supt, <br /> who relayed it would not be feasible at this time to service <br /> that area. <br />
