Oreelish <br /> THE TAPE IS NOT PART OF THE MEETING 1T IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br /> i TRANSCRIPTION ONLY. <br /> Mr. John T. Doherty, Chairman <br /> 1. ) Warrants signed <br /> 2. Mr. Costa motioned to approve the minutes of April 9. <br /> 1992, Mr. Oreelish seconded, all agreed. <br /> Mr, Costa motioned to approve the minutes of April 23, <br /> 1992, Mr. Creelish seconded, all agreed. <br /> . Correspondence from ..E.P. re: Title V - Mr. McQuaid <br /> informed the Board -the State is proposing to implement an <br /> amendment to their po.lioy regarding 310 OMR 15e02(1) 1P "T is <br /> amendment would exempt local Boards of Health review on State <br /> projects however, a 30 day comment period would be allotted <br /> for local Boards as part of the Departments review of plans <br /> and specifications." '. "The second letter- clarifies the. status <br /> of systems installed prior to 1977.11 "In cases where the <br /> applicant is seeping a building permit' to enlarge,, renovate. <br /> r replace existing buildings will now require a Disposal <br /> Works Construction Permit unless the existing sewage disposal <br /> system is adequate for a proposed alteration or addition to <br /> an existing dwelling. " "This is a controversy in that the <br /> Building Code does not require Board of Health approval of <br /> such modifications to existing buildings.
