DePaul relayed, he researched costs to install a re- <br /> verse osmosis system and found prices in the '$600,00 to <br /> $700.00 range as opposed to the $80.00 originally thought. <br /> "Mr. O'Donnell is unable at this time to afford this type of <br /> filtration system. " "The Board offered another- option, that <br /> being to connect the building to #16 Echo Road. " "To redi- <br /> rect the piping. would he very expensive as the asphalt must <br /> be ripped up. " "I would like to request the Board reconsider <br /> the options listed' in their letter of June 9, 1992 and offer <br /> less expensive solution to the problem. " <br /> r. Gree l i sh responded, this office has received infor- <br /> mation on reverse osmosis systems with a price range within <br /> $80000 to $100,000 "Unfortunately we are not permitted to <br /> make direct recommendations, " <br /> ter. DePaul requested the Board consider either posting <br /> the building or utilizing bottled water for coffee. <br /> Mr. Greelish informed Mr. DePaul, this Board cannot au- <br /> thorize the use of bottled water for a food establishment, <br /> "If the building is posted water tests must be submitted on a <br /> quarterly basis. " it. Gr elfish allotted Mr, DePaul two weeps <br /> from thi date in which to decide -a course of action which is <br /> amicable with the Health Agents, <br /> APPOINTMENT: Ed Pesce - 72 Captain's Row <br /> Mr, Edward Pesce was in attendance for this scheduled <br /> appointment. <br /> Mr, Pesce informed the Board the owners are proposing -an <br /> addition to the existing dwelling, "The leaching facility <br /> must be upgraded to accommodate the proposed addition. " "Due <br /> to the topography of the lot we are proposing the installa- <br /> tion of a. pump system. " "Local variances are required from <br /> on-site and abutting wells. <br /> Mr, McQuaid informed the Board -plans must be revised as <br /> specs, for the pump chamber were omitted and the invertel- <br /> evation must be recalculated. <br /> 1 <br /> i <br /> 4 <br /> i <br />
