MINUTES June 18, 5 BOARD of HEALTH <br /> Mr. Murphy presented revised plans before the Board and <br /> stated there is an existing Title V component system at the <br /> site consisting of a septic tank and leach pit. ' The pit is <br /> probably into groundwater. " "Tie owner is proposing to en- <br /> close the existing porch. " "The garage will be utilized for <br /> storage area as revised plans do not allow for access. ". "As <br /> we cannot make breakout a pump system is proposed which in- <br /> cludes a new septic tank pump chamber, three flow diffusers <br /> -surrounded by sand and stone and a vault. " "The vault area <br /> will rise V to3,1 -above ground. " <br /> Mr. Doherty questioned whether there is 4' of naturally <br /> occurring permeable soil,, <br /> Mr. Murphy stated,. no. <br /> Mr. McQuaid stated groundwater was observed at V611 . <br /> "Proposals are to mound the system to create the 41 feet of <br /> naturally occurring permeable soil, " "Once plans are submit- <br /> ted to the State they may require a dewatered perc. 11 <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to grant the local variance which <br /> requires 41 of naturally occurring permeable soil between the <br /> bottom of the leaching facility and groundwater, a State <br /> variance for the installation of a containment wall , a 91 and <br /> 81 State sideline variance and a 16.5' State variance from <br /> the leaching facility to a slab/crawl space with the stipula- <br /> tion revised plans presented this evening are approved by <br /> . . . , Mr. Ball seconded, all agreed. <br /> APPOINTMENT: -Paul Griffin - 144 I inigret Avenue <br /> Attorney Jeremy Carter and Mr. Paul Griffin were in at- <br /> tendance- for this scheduled appointment, <br /> Mr , Griffin stated he is present this evening to request <br /> the Board's reconsideration in granting approval to complete <br /> the second level of his dwelling based on town water servic- <br /> ing the dwelling in six months. <br /> Mr. Creelish stated this Board stands on its previous <br /> decision until such time as town water has been supplied to <br /> the dwelling as per agreement. " <br /> Mr. Griffin informed the Board he will not seek an oc- <br /> oupancy .permit until town water is supplied, <br /> Attorney Carter stated Mr. Griffin did provide the Board <br /> with a letter from the Nater District stating water will be <br /> provided to the area in six months.
