School Committee Meeting Minutes November 14, 2018 Present were: Chris Santos, Nicole Bartlett, Don Myers, Patty DeBoer, Hope Hanscom and Paul Funk. Absent were George Schmidt and Geoff Gorman I. Call Meeting to Order/Pledge of Allegiance Mr. Santos called the meeting to order @5:33 pm. Il. Public Comment None III. Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe-Roxanne Brown Not present IV. *Field trip to Canobie Lake Park in NH May 2, 2019 Ms. Bartlett made a motion, seconded by Mr. Myers to approve the field trip to Canobie Lake Park in NH on May 2, 2019. Roll Call Vote: In favor- Mr. Myers, Ms. Bartlett and Mr. Santos; opposed - none; absent- Mr. Schmidt and Mr. Gorman, vote passes. V. Update on QS re n ovation-Ma ryKate O'Brien Mrs. O'Brien, Quashnet School Principal gave an update on the construction project at QS. VI. *Approval of minutes of October 10 &October 24 Mr. Myers made a motion, seconded by Ms. Bartlett to approve the minutes of October 10, 2018 as presented. Roll Call Vote: In favor- Mr. Myers, Ms. Bartlett and Mr. Santos; opposed - none; absent Mr. Schmidt and Mr. Gorman, vote passes Ms. Bartlett made a motion, seconded by Mr. Myers to approve the minutes of October 24, 2018 as presented. Roll Call Vote: In favor- Mr. Myers, Ms. Bartlett and Mr. Santos; opposed - none; absent Mr. Schmidt and Mr. Gorman, vote passes. VII. Report of the Superintendent Mrs. DeBoer reviewed the Administrators reports with the Committee. VIII. Report of the Business Administrator • *FY19 Budget Transfers Ms. Bartlett made a motion, seconded by Mr. Myers to approve FY19 budget transfer#19-01 as presented. Roll Call Vote: In favor- Mr. Myers, Ms. Bartlett and Mr. Santos; opposed - none; absent- Mr. Schmidt and Mr. Gorman, vote passes. • FY19 Update Mr. Funk presented an update on FY19. • Student Activity Accounts and Balances Mr. Funk updated the Committee on the student activity accounts and balances. 1
