School Committee Meeting <br /> June 20, 2018 <br /> Minutes <br /> Present were: Chris Santos, Geoff Gorman, George Schmidt, Don Myers and Nicole Bartlett. Also <br /> present was Patty DeBoer,Superintendent, Hope Hanscom, Assistant Superintendent and Paul Funk, <br /> Business Manager <br /> 1. Call Meeting to order/Pledge of Allegiance <br /> Mr.Santos called the meeting to order @5:00 pm. <br /> II. Public Comment <br /> None <br /> Ill. Approval of Minutes of June 6, 2018 <br /> Mr.Schmidt made a motion, seconded by Ms. Bartlett to approve the minutes of June 6, 2018 <br /> with the wording correction to item #3. <br /> Roll Call Vote: In favor- Ms. Bartlett, Mr. Myers, Mr. Gorman and Mr. Santos; abstained - Mr. <br /> Schmidt. <br /> IV. Report of the Business Administrator <br /> 1. Student Activity Guidelines and Procedures. <br /> Mr. Funk presented the updated guidelines and procedures pertaining to the student <br /> activity accounts for the School Committee's review. <br /> V. Specifically Assigned/Unfinished Business <br /> 1. Retreat- location and topic <br /> The retreat is scheduled for August 9, 2018 from 5:00 pm -7:00 pm at the <br /> #WeAreMashpee store. <br /> 2. Revised Policy manual-final discussion <br /> The Committee reviewed the policy manual and brought up several questions. <br /> 3. School Committee Self- Evaluation <br /> Mrs. DeBoer will create a google form and send the link to the School Committee. <br /> They will review at the School Committee retreat. <br /> 4. Family picnic-outreach tent <br /> The Superintendent reviewed the timeline for the July 11t family picnic. <br /> VI. New Business <br /> 1. Correspondence (p. 100) <br /> Mrs. DeBoer and the School Committee discussed the letter sent by the former <br /> members of School Committee to name the MMHS library in honor of Janice Mills, <br /> former long term school committee member. <br /> 1 <br />
