As the statutory deadline had passed for the normal abatement process, <br /> special permission to process an abatement had to be utilized under the Commissioner of <br /> Revenue's Section 8 of Chapter 58 rules and regulations. <br /> Gregg Fraser motioned to abate the taxes under Section 8 of Chapter 58.
