9 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> October 7, 2019 <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Discussion and Approval of Appointment of Mashpee Representative to the Barnstable County <br /> Coastal Resources Subcommittee: Shellfish Constable Ashley Fisher, Department of Natural <br /> Resources: <br /> With the establishment of a new County Coastal Resources Subcommittee charged with representing <br /> town interests and concerns on coastal resource issues Richard York Director of Natural Resources <br /> recommended the appointment of Ashley Fisher, Shellfish Constable to represent Mashpee. <br /> The purpose of the Coastal Resources Subcommittee is to meet 3-4 times per year to discuss coastal <br /> resources issues, share common concerns and solutions, and to carry issues, requests and <br /> recommendations to the Barnstable County Coastal Management Committee. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Sherman to appoint Ashley Fisher, Shellfish Constable to the <br /> County Coastal Resources Committee as the Town of Mashpee representative. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes Selectman Weeden,yes Opposed, none <br /> Discussion and Approval of Verizon New England, Inc. and NStar Electric Company <br /> Eversource Energy Petition/Plan#MA2019-37 dated September 18, 2019 proposing to place one (1) <br /> New Pole #194/15 3/4 on Old Barnstable Road: Pole Hearing was held on October 7, 2019 at 8:45 <br /> am: Assistant Town Manager Wayne Taylor: <br /> The Board of Selectmen reviewed petition#MA2019-37 from Verizon New England, Inc. and <br /> Eversource Energy d/b/a NStar Electric Company proposing to place new facilities; Pole 194/15 3/4 <br /> on Old Barnstable Road. The petition is necessary to provide service to a new home under <br /> construction. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on October 7, 2019.
