Mr. Harrington advised the Board that the Cape Cod Commission has nitrogen loading restrictions <br /> on the subdivision. Mr. McGrath stated that the project has been reviewed by the Cape Cod <br /> Commission, and a Title 5 system is appropriate, given the distance to actual estuaries. Mr. <br /> Harrington and Board members reiterated that solid dog waste cannot be put into the Title 5 <br /> system. <br /> There being no further comments or discussion, Mallory Langler moved to approve the revised <br /> septic plan for 31 Evergreen Circle,with the condition that no solid dog waste be introduced into <br /> the septic system. Motion seconded by Brian Baumgaertel. VOTE: Unanimous (2-0). <br /> 3. Discussion of proposed "Delivery Only" Food Permit. Mr. Harrington commented that he <br /> emailed DPH Food Protection Program and got a response from Diane Bernazzani, who stated <br /> that no permit is required for delivery-only services. The applicant, Glovann Palmer, has been <br /> notified of the DPH opinion. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 1. Review and approval of meeting minutes: There were no minutes to approve. <br /> 2. Sign expense warrants. Expense warrants were signed and the VNA contract was briefly <br /> discussed. <br /> 3. Review of request for variance from the Food Code,Hissho Sushi at Mashpee Stop&Shop. Mr. <br /> Harrington commented that the applicant is taking over the contracted sushi preparation at Stop <br /> & Shop. The chefs ServSafe and allergen awareness have been provided, as has the company <br /> insurance. In order to render the rice not a potentially hazardous food,vinegar is used to reduce <br /> the pH to less than 4.6. The required HAACP Plan outlines the acidification process and record <br /> keeping, which was reviewed and meets the requirements per the Food Code. A pre-operation <br /> inspection will be performed to confirm the knowledge of the chef on the rice acidification <br /> process. Mr. Harrington stated that the Board has approved this variance before. <br /> There being no further comments or discussion, Mallory Langler moved to approve the Food <br /> Establishment Permit and variance from the Federal Food Code, Sections 3-502.11 and 8-103.11 <br /> for Hissho Sushi at 53 Market Street. Motion seconded by Brian Baumgaertel. VOTE: Unanimous <br /> (2-0). <br /> 4. Discussion of Board of Health designee to the Mashpee Human Services Committee, Veronica <br /> Warden. Mr. Harrington commented that the former Assistant Health Agent has made a written <br /> request to be designated as the Board of Health representative to the Human Services Committee. <br /> The Selectmen will make the appointment, but only after the Board has designated Ms. Warden <br /> as their representative. <br /> There being no further comments or discussion, Mallory Langler moved to designate Veronica <br /> Warden as the Board of Health representative to the Human Services Committee. Motion <br /> seconded by Brian Baumgaertel. VOTE: Unanimous (2-0). <br /> 5. Review and approval of FY2021 Department Budget. Mr. Harrington commented that it is a <br /> level-funded budget.
