Collins <br /> was unable to attend this meeting. <br /> Review of Town Meeting Warrant Articles: <br /> A brief discussion followed regarding Article #5 proposed to amend the General Bylaws relative <br /> to the ban of polystyrene products. As noted in the article, these products cause harm to marine <br /> and terrestrial animals, are an unsightly form of pollution and degradation of the terrestrial and <br /> aquatic environment, and often difficult to recycle for solid waste collection and recycling <br /> facilities. <br /> There was concern with respect to straws and the hardship from a disability point of view. <br />
