It is likely the positon would be funded next fiscal year. <br /> Of the total funds the Town would receive, 25% of the revenues would support the Code <br /> Compliance Officer position. It was suggested the sources of funding be fully defined. <br /> Motion made by Mr. Pettengill to approve and recommend Article 9 as written. <br /> Motion seconded by Mr. Miller. <br /> VOTE: 5-1. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Mr. Richardson,yes Mr. Pettengill,yes Mr. McCahill, no <br /> Mrs. Furbush,yes Mr. Miller,yes Mr. Gasior,yes <br /> Opposed, (1) <br /> Article 16: To hire a Consulting Agency to identify Short-Term Rental Properties: <br /> Board of Health Agent Glen Harrington indicated that funds are being requested by the Board of <br /> Health to enter into a contract with a consulting agency to identify short-term rental properties <br /> and to issue notifications on the requirements of the regulation. To date, three bids have been <br /> received. The middle bid; $17,700 is the recommended responsible bid. <br /> Rental properties are required to participate in the State's short-term rental program, and to <br /> ensure enforcement of the Board of Health's Short-Term Rental Regulation. The bid as received <br /> would provide monthly compliance for the first year with tracking of the data base for six <br /> months. The length of the contract is for a term of one year.
