a <br /> f <br /> SEWER COMMISSION MINUTES <br /> TUESBAY, OCTOBER 8 � 1996 <br /> Present: Dennis Bal arini , Tom Fudala, Brad Caffyn <br /> MINUTES <br /> Brad made a motion to approve the minutes of August 13 , <br /> 1996 . enni seconded the motion. All members were in <br /> favor - * <br /> Toms distributed some materials for the members <br /> - alternative on site , individual home systems <br /> - 5 part per million nitrogen planning goal which will be <br /> included in the LCP Wastewater goals. <br /> Tom explained the Federal and State tand rd is 10 parts per <br /> million but if you aim for 5 you will hit the target of 1 . <br /> permitting information on various alternative on site septic <br /> system technologies . <br /> Brad asked if there are only 4 systems , as shown on this list: <br /> Tom said there are a variety of each of these listen. <br /> - Information on Living Machine Technology (New Alchemy type <br /> system) . <br /> The Committee reviewed a map of the town and highlighted projects <br /> that are already ewerei <br /> willo bend, win Bch ime, Ma.shpee Commons , Stratford Ponds , <br /> Southport , High School . <br /> Two restaurants ; 99 and eventually Cooks will havere-circulating <br /> sand filter systems . <br /> They then mapped all the conservation land in town that will not <br /> need sewers . <br /> The Committee reviewed the high density areas : <br /> Condo Projecto, Summerwood, is going straight to the Mashpee <br /> River, <br /> Cotuit Bay Condos , individual septic systems for each building, <br /> Riverbend motel , 50 units , Sea Oaks condos , Quashnet Valley <br /> condos . <br /> High density areas around Southport , which has a treatment plant <br /> United Church Village, Tr ilor park, Winslow Farms ( 1 acre <br /> lots ) , games Circle . <br /> Other high density areas : Briar wood , Industrial park, Been <br /> Crossing , Santuit Pond, South Sandwich area, Ashers Heights , <br /> Clipper Ship Village , Simmons Narrows , pirates Cove (very dense ) , <br /> Sandalwood, Greenwood , Seabrook Village , Meadows and Shores , <br /> 1 <br />
