That is the only thing the Commission spends money on. <br /> After developing the wastewater element of the local comprehensive plan, the Commission can <br /> then request additional funds to implement their goals. <br /> * Dennis made a motion to submit an expense budget for the Sewer Commission for <br /> $110.00. Torn seconded the motion. All members were in favor 2- * <br /> Torn was not able to get Barns table's wastewater facilities element but he will keep trying. <br /> Tom had copies for members of the documents from the decentralized wastewater management <br /> task force committee. He asked Commission members to read it before the next meeting. <br /> Toni also had a publication which presented a series of ease studies of projects around the <br /> Country. <br /> e also presented to members a description prepared by the County of alternative technologies. <br /> -New England waste water Environmental Association meeting and conference in January, <br /> $170 fee for members. <br /> Toni and Dennis reviewed another neap that Torn prepared. <br /> Grey areas: have sewer service already or planned to have it. He is showing a plant associated <br /> with a new elementary school at the location behind town hall. <br /> -proposed solar aquatic plant for the Mashpee Meek area, up to Aashers Heights, down to Pirates <br /> Cove. <br /> Dennis asked if the location shown on the map is the actual location of a plant? <br /> Torn said they are proposed locations because he is not yet sure hover much area a facility will <br /> need. <br /> Torn said he suggested, at the MEPA hearing for the new shopping center at the Talanian <br /> property,bringing their wastewater outside of the Fhghwood well recharge area, clown Great <br /> Neck Rd So., near the church. <br /> Dennis asked, if in the Pirates Cove area, would it be cheaper to put state of the art systems in <br /> the individual hones rather than a treatment plant? <br />
