I f MASHPEE SEWER CoMINUSS oN MINUTES wE NE SAY,MAY 14, 1997 TOWN HALL Present: Toni Fudalal, Dennis alzarini, Brad Cafyn Meeting convened at 7:15 p.m. The first thing the Board is required to do aver an election is reorganize. Toni opened the floor to nominations for Chairman. Brad made a motion to nominate Toni Fudala. Dennis seconded the motion. Discussion: Brad said that he thinks Torn has done an excellent job keeping the Sewer Commission on track. e congratulated him on his re-election. *' All members were in favor of the notion for Tom as Chairman 3- Torn explained that statutorily they are required to also elect a clerk. Traditionally, the Sewer Commission has also elected a vice Chairman. i Dennis made a motion to nominate Bract as Clerk. Toni seconded the notion. Brad made a motion to nominate Dennis as Clerk, Worn seconded the notion. Note: 2 members were in favor of the motion to nominate Brad(Dennis and Tom). I member was in favor of the motion to nominate Dens(Brad). "Brad made a notion to nominate Dennis for vice Chairman. Tom seconded the motion. Brad said Shoestring Bay already has algae plumes and there are plumes outside of the spit. He does not agree completely with the idea of not swering the Pppnssett area. It is effecting the sea life. It is a shallow coastline. 1t should he looped into. Toni explained that he has been asked to attend the next DCPC Committee meeting to discuss the Sewer Commission's plans, what we have been working on. He will present the map the Commission developed with a written explanation of the proposals: to expand existing systems and to use de-nitrifying systems.
