Mashpee Sewer Commission <br /> MINUTES <br /> JUNE 20, 2001 MEETING <br /> 6:30 P.M. <br /> TOWN HALL, SELECTMEN'S MEETING ROOM <br /> Members Fudala, Cahalane and Balzarini present. Recording Secretary Cadrin was <br /> excused due to the proposed brevity of the meeting. <br /> Chairman Fudala called the meeting to order at 6:35. <br /> Under the first order of business, the Board voted to sign, and signed, a contract with <br /> the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth, Center for Marine Science & <br /> Technology, to provide professional services associated with the Commission's <br /> Watershed Nitrogen Management Plan. The contract is in the amount of $60,487, <br /> funded with the assistance of a loan from the Massachusetts Water Pollution <br /> Abatement Trust. <br /> This being the first meeting of the Commission since the annual Town election, the <br /> Board then voted to reorganize as follows: <br /> John Cahalane nominated Tom Fudala to continue as chairman, Dennis Balzarini <br /> seconded. There were no other nominations. All members voted in favor of Tom <br /> Fudala as Chairman. <br /> John Cahalane nominated Dennis Balzarini as Clerk, Tom Fudala seconded. There <br /> were no other nominations. All members voted in favor of Dennis Balzarini as Clerk. <br /> Dennis Balzarini nominated John Cahalane to the informal position of Vice <br /> Chairman, Tom Fudala seconded. There were no other nominations. All members <br /> voted in favor of John Cahalane as Vice Chairman. <br /> Chairman Fudala noted that there were new census data coming out from the federal <br /> government and that we would try to incorporate them into our water use and <br /> buildout projections for the sewer study if they were available at the block level in <br /> time to do so. <br /> There being no o siness, the Commission adjourned at 7:05. <br /> Aines submitte y F.
