9
Finance Committee
Minutes
February 27, 2020
Enclosure:
From: cegasior a,aol.com
Date: February 22, 2020 at 11:44:20 AM EST
To: mike72147Lcomcast.net
Subject: Re: Chuck's status
Mike: Coincidentally, the other day I listened to an interview of a former Federal cabinet director who was
commenting on the recent rash of resignations from the Trump administration. He said when a
subordinate came to him and said he was thinking of resigning from their position, I told the
employee that you have to commit to either resigning or not resigning, and as director I recommend that
you resign, because you will never be as effective in the work we do with the lingering possibility of a
future resignation. Having been in a similar situation in my career in the early 70's that seems to me to be
sound advice.
Accordingly, since I have already decided not to be re-appointed for another term, I think it best that I
officially resign now. Sorry for any disruption I may have caused you or the other FinCom members.
Regards, Chuck
