Mrs. DeBoer shared with the Committee the positive acknowledgements received from the various people and organizations the schools have collaborated with. • Proposed solar project DPW)-update Mrs. DeBoer presented an update to the Committee. • Proposed Use of School Choice Funds-update There is an update on the use of school choice funds in the School Committee packet. The Committee discussed some new ideas for the expenditure of school choice funds. • FY21 CIP requests Mrs. DeBoer and the Committee discussed teh FY21 CIP requests. • MMHS traffic flow update Mrs. DeBoer presented an update on what she has found out about the MMHS traffic flow at Old Barnstable Road and Route 151 lights intersection. • Student Opportunity Act A copy of the Student Opportunity Act"fact sheet" is included the Committee packet. 9. Report of the Business Manager • FY20 Budget Update Mr. Funk presented an update on the FY20 budget, as well as an overview of the grants. • Superintendent's Draft FY2021 MPS Budget and draft summary Mrs. DeBoer presented the draft FY2021 MPS Budget and summary. 10. Specifically Assigned/Unfinished Business • Victim's Advocacy Mr. Myers made a motion, seconded by Mr. Schmidt to reach out to Jim Hardy of MASC to ensure the schools' handbooks are in compliance regarding bullying victims advocacy. Roll Call Vote: In favor- Mr. Myers, Mr. Santos, Mr. Schmidt, Ms. Bartlett and Mr. Gorman; oppoised - none. • *SY19-20 School Committee meetings-conflicts with Cape Cod Collaborative Board Meetings Mr. Schmidt made a motion, seconded by Mr. Santos to move the following meetings of April 8, 2020, May 13, 2020 and June 10, 2020 to 6:30 pm instead of the 5:30 pm start time. Roll Call Vote: In favor- Mr. Myers, Mr. Santos, Mr. Schmidt, Ms. Bartlett and Mr. Gorman; opposed - none. • NSBA Conference (April 4-6) in Chicago The Committee will reach out to Gail Hannan as soon as possible. 2
