Taylor <br /> Town Clerk Deborah Dami <br /> Meeting Called to Order by.Chairman Gottlieb at 6:30 p.m. <br /> Mashpee Town Hall,Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> This is a virtual, remote meeting with participants identified. <br /> MINUTES <br /> Monday March 23, 2020 Regular Session: No action, held for next meeting. <br /> APPOINTMENTS &HEARINGS <br /> Public Comment: None at this time. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Update Discussion and Possible Action Relative to COVID-19: <br /> Town Manager Rodney C. Collins updated the Board of Selectmen on the matter of the COVID-19 virus. <br /> As noted,the Town of Mashpee has 12 confirmed cases, with no deaths being reported. The Police and <br /> Fire Departments have also received an adequate supply of the N95 masks. <br /> The Board of Selectmen has no objections regarding sign restrictions with respect to restaurants advertising <br /> the availability of take-out food items. All Town parks are closed. Beaches remain open and people are <br /> practicing social distancing. <br /> To address the challenges in Town governance the Town Manager's Financial Team has recommended the <br /> Board of Selectmen authorize a provision of the Municipal Relief Legislation dated April 3, 2020 of <br /> Chapter 53 of the Acts of 2020 to extend the due date of real estate and property tax bills. <br /> As this topic was not reasonable anticipated to be discussed,the Board of Selectmen took action to place <br /> the discussion and possible action of this matter on the agenda. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cotton to place the Discussion and Possible Action to Extend the Due <br /> Date of Real Estate and Property Tax Bills on the agenda. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Weeden. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes Selectman Weeden,yes Opposed, none <br /> 2 <br />
