*DRAFT BOARD OF SELECTMEN MINUTES MARCH 23, 2020* 7 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> March 23, 2020 <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Discussion and Approval of Extending the Term of the Memorandum of Understanding Between the Mash ee <br /> Wampano.ag..Tribe and the Town of Mashpee for the Provision of Fire Protection and Emergency Medical <br /> Services and Law Enforcement Mutual Aid Assistance: <br /> Town Manager Rodney C. Collins indicated he has communicated with the Tribal attorney regarding the <br /> Extension of the Memorandum of Understanding for Fire Protection, Emergency Medical Services and Law <br /> Enforcement Mutual Aid Assistance.' Given the circumstances, Town Manager Collins recommended the <br /> Board extend the Agreement until September 1, 2020. <br /> Motion made by Selectman O'Hara to approve the extension of the term of the Memorandum of <br /> Understanding between the Town of Mashpee and Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe for the Provision of <br /> Fire Protection, Emergency Medical Services and Law Enforcement Mutual Aid Assistance until <br /> September 1, 2020. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cotton. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous, 4-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes Selectman Weeden, recused opposed, none <br /> Discussion and.Approval of Adding.1 Amending Articles on the Mqy 4 2020 Annual Town Meeting warrant: <br /> It was disclosed the Board of Selectmen was advised by Town Counsel that it is appropriate to finalize the <br /> warrant. Town Meeting is scheduled to be held on May 4, 2020, but it is likely the date would be extended. <br /> The Board of Selectmen took action on the following articles-, <br /> Add: Four 4 Solar Zoning Articles: <br /> At the last meeting, the Board of Selectmen requested a recommendation from the Planning Board with <br /> regards to (4) Solar Zoning Articles. It was the unanimous recommendation of the Planning Board to move <br /> forward with the articles related to small scale ground-mounted solar arrays, table of use, terms and regulations <br /> consistent with the conversation held with the Board of Selectmen and Town Counsel. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Sherman to include the (4) Solar Zoning Articles on the ATM warrant. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Gottlieb, yes Selectman Cotton, yes Selectman O'Hara,yes <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes Selectman weeden,yes opposed, none <br />
