Town of Nashpee <br /> x <br /> MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> MEETING MINUTES <br /> NOVEMBER 13,2019 <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals held Public Hearings on Wednesday, November <br /> 13, 2019, at 6:00 p.m. in the Waquoit Room at the Mashpee Town Hall, 16 Great Neck <br /> Road North. Chairman, Jonathan D. Furbush, Board Members William A. Blaisdell, Scott <br /> Goldstein, Norman J. Gould and Associate Members Sharon Sangeleer, George <br /> Ganzenmuller, and James Reiffarth were present. Also present was Charlie Maintanis, <br /> Building Inspector. <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> Chairman Furbush opened the meeting at 6:00 pm and announced that the hearings were <br /> televised live on Mashpee TV. <br /> NEW HEARINGS <br /> 49 Cayuga Avenue: Owner,David B. Moore requests Variance relief from the front yard <br /> setback under §174-31 (fn. 3) to allow for construction of an 8' x 12' shed on property <br /> located in an R-3 Zoning District, Map 65 Parcel 15, Mashpee, MA. (Received letter of <br /> withdrawal). <br /> Mr. Ganzeninuller read the withdrawal letter into the record dated October 25, 2019 <br /> submitted by David Moore. <br /> Mr. Goldstein made a motion that the Board accept the withdrawal letter without prejudice <br /> from Mr.David B.Moore,at 49 Cayuga Avenue.Mr.Blaisdell seconded.All were in favor <br /> to accept the letter of withdrawal without prejudice. <br /> 39 Wilsons Grove: Owner, 39 Wilsons Grove, LLC requests a Modification of an <br /> approved Variance (V-2018-06) to allow for relocation of egress stairs from the east side <br /> to the north side of the dwelling on property located in the Popponesset Overlay, and R-3 <br /> Zoning District, Map 118 Parcel 85, Mashpee, MA. <br /> Mr. Don Bliss represented the owners for the modification to relocate the stairs that were <br /> originally approved on the side of the house. Mr. Bliss decided it would be more practical <br /> to relocate the stairs on the front and eliminate the stairs on the side to provide more <br /> parking, and it will be less evasive to the wetlands. The stairs will not encroach on the <br /> setbacks. <br /> Chairman Furbush and Scott Goldstein agreed that the stairs are not included in the <br /> setbacks. George wanted to confirm that the stairs on the side are being eliminated. Mr. <br /> Bliss said; yes. <br /> 1 <br />
