OLD BUSINESS <br /> 1. COVID-19 update. Mr. Harrington commented that the following actions are completed or <br /> ongoing: <br /> • Watched daily briefings from Governor Baker's office,and monitored daily updates from the <br /> State's COVID-19 Command Center. <br /> • Participated in conference calls with DPH and Barnstable County local boards of health. <br /> • Communicated new addresses to our public safety answering point and first responders, as <br /> well as addresses released from isolation. <br /> • Updated the Town Manager of daily case numbers using our address tracker spreadsheet. <br /> • Communicated COVID-19 updates to the Town Manager and the Board of Selectmen. <br /> • Coordinated with the Town Manager to implement a reverse 9-1-1 call informing Mashpee <br /> residents of the importance of staying home for the next 2 weeks. <br /> • Built on communication with our VNA representative to ensure accurate case reporting. <br /> • Submitted VNA invoices to Barnstable County Health for reimbursement with State <br /> emergency funds. <br /> • Participated in Emergency Fund Distribution Planning Group for Barnstable County COVID-19 <br /> funding allocation. <br /> • Talked to the owner of Rory's Organic Market about the COVID-19 protocols in their grocery <br /> store. <br /> • Maintained close communication with grocery stores regarding new occupancy limits and <br /> testing resources for staff members. <br /> • Responded to complaints and concerns from the public about landscapers, grocery stores, <br /> physical therapists, and food establishments regarding social distancing and lack of face <br /> masks. <br /> • In response to complaints from the community, communicated with private golf courses at <br /> Willowbend and New Seabury neighborhoods to ensure their pro shops and brick and mortar <br /> facilities are closed. <br /> • Spoke to the manager of a local pool about going through the permitting process,so they are <br /> ready to open as soon as the State lifts the non-essential businesses order. <br /> • Communicated the concerns of the Mashpee Board of Health to Cape Cod Healthcare and <br /> Barnstable County Health about their COVID-19 Heat Map system, and refrained from <br /> including Mashpee in their reporting of case numbers. <br /> • Sent information to long-term care facilities regarding updated nursing home mobile testing <br /> program protocols and new operating guidelines from Cape Cod Healthcare and Barnstable <br /> County Health. <br /> • Followed up with illegal barbershop, and began process of scheduling an appointment with <br /> the owner. <br /> • Sent out new FDA guidelines for food establishments regarding safe takeout and delivery <br /> operations. <br /> • Communicated with seasonal food establishments about opening for takeout and delivery. <br /> • Forwarded a cover sheet for building permits to the Building and Planning Departments in <br /> response to concerns from the community regarding construction workers and social <br /> distancing. <br /> • Maintained COVID-19 webpage and coordinated with the Selectman's office to put out <br /> information on social media. <br /> • Communicated with the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe regarding COVID-19. <br /> 4 <br />
