I
wholeheartedly support a ban on nips.
I live near Santuit Pond and walk the neighborhoods and conservation areas
regularly. For many years, at least two or three times a year, I pick up
multiple 55-gallon trash bags of garbage from the side's of the road and the
conservation area. I find the majority of the trash items I pick up'are nip
bottles. Not only are'they an eyesore laying on the sides of the roads and in
our Woods, but a single use plastic bottle is a waste of resources and
contributes to our solid waste issue.
I encourage the Board to move forward to ban nip bottles.
Marisa Picone-Devine
