The matter was taken under advisement <br /> and held by the Board of Selectee . <br /> Appointment to the Shellfish Commission as an Associate Member (Term to Expire Jun 30, 2020 Marls <br /> Weissman: <br /> The appointment of Mark Weissman to the Shellfish Commission.was Meld due to lack of attendance. <br /> Appointment to the Sever Commission 'erm to Expire June 3 01 2020 Michael Rapacz: <br /> Michael Rapacz was interviewed by the Board of Selectmen for appointment to the Sewer Commission as a <br /> member at large for a terms to expire June 3 o, 2021. A letter of interest and resume was included in the <br /> informational packet for additional review. Also attached was a recommendation from the Sewer Commission <br /> dated February 21, 2020 confirming the outstanding qualifications of Mr. Rapacz for this position, <br /> Mr. Rapacz indicated he was worked in the public sector for the past 40 years on environmental issues. Most of <br /> his experience 's related to wastewater and its 'impacts on the environment. Mr. Rapacz was, a former faculty <br /> member of the School of Marine Science &Technology at UMass Dartmouth. He has also worked for the <br /> Department of Environmental Protection and was responsible for the implementation and management of the <br /> Massachusetts :estuaries Project and the drafting of policies and guidance concerning water resource, wastewater <br /> and nutrient management.
