Page 2 PERIOD OF SERVICE The above Scope of Services will be performed within 12 months of ENGINEER's receipt of this accepted and authorized Letter Agreement, and Engineers Notice to Proceed from OWNER, FURTHER SERVICES AND PAYMENTS This Agreement may be amended to provide authorization and payment for further phases or Additional Services, CONSULTANT may proceed with such services based upon receipt, of a mailed or faxed authorization from ENGINEER which, until a formal amendment is executed, shall constitute a Contract Amendment, with payment for such services to be negotiated at the time when further services are requested. STANDARD CONDITIONS Attached hereto are the Standard Conditions to this Agreement consisting of three (3) pages, which the CONSULTANT has reviewed and acknowledges to be a part of this Agreement. AUTHORIZATION By executing this Agreement, the CONSULTANT certifies to the ENGINEER that the individual executing this Agreement is duly authorized to enter into this Agreement and to designate individuals to transmit instructions, receive information, and render decisions relative to the Project on behalf of the CONSULTANT. By executing this Agreement, the ENGINEER certifies to the CONSULTANT that the individual executing this Agreement is duly authorized to enter into this Agreement and to designate individuals to transmit instructions,receive information, and render decisions relative to the Project on behalf of the ENGINEER, The return of one (1) signed copy of this Letter Agreement constitutes acceptance of this Agreement and shall be written authorization for CONSULTANT to proceed with the Scope of Services outlined above.
