9 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> September 14, 2020 <br /> TOWN MANAGER UPDATES <br /> Cotuit Road Closure: Milling and paving work will begin on Wednesday through Thursday. <br /> Echo Road Nuisance: The Town has been fully reimbursed for the construction debris nuisance <br /> approximately 700 tons of solid waste at the site; 95 Echo Road, Mashpee. <br /> FY22 Budget Calendar: The Board of Selectmen received the FY22 Budget Calendar. It was noted that <br /> guidelines have been distributed to Department Heads. With the exception of the DPW, expenses are <br /> expected to be level funded unless circumstances are unique. Wages shall be reflective of contractual <br /> obligations only. There are no anticipated new positions or personnel within the budget assumption. <br /> Detonation of Fireworks: All matters associated to the recent detonation of fireworks at the Mashpee High <br /> School have been fully rectified. The Superintendent of Schools is apprised of the details related to the <br /> incident and would be duly notified if this was to re-occur. <br /> Childs River Restoration Project: The Association to Preserve Cape Cod (APCC) was noted to have written <br /> a press release regarding the Childs River Restoration project. <br /> Eagle Scout Project: The Board of Selectmen expressed appreciation to Nathan Ware for his Eagle Scout <br /> project and to the volunteers who assisted in the trail-work at the Mashpee Woodlands. The recreational <br /> trails in the Town of Mashpee are being used at an astonishing rate, a highly regarded attribute to the Town. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> Motion made by Selectman Gottlieb to adjourn at 7:19 p.m. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Sherman. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes Selectman Sherman,yes <br /> Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman Weeden,yes Opposed, none <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> A <br /> Kathleen M.
