<br /> As a result of a recent incl-dent held at Mashpce High, School Committee Ch air George Schmidt expressed
<br /> displeasure at the events which happened this past weekend. Mr. Schmidt indicated that it is unacceptable the
<br /> Schools were not made aware of this occurrence only find out what had happened in the newspaper. On
<br /> September 25, 2020 sports activities will be allowed, and the high school field needs to be ready. Mr. Schmidt
<br /> requested the Selectmen's support to have the fields ready for sport activities.

<br /> The Board of Selectmen met with Alan Robinson to review plans for the 2020 Head of the Ponds Regatta.
<br /> The regatta is a long distance race of 7,500 meters for singles and doubles with co-habiting partners on one of
<br /> the most beautiful rowing venues i .

<br /> states the race 'I's scheduled to be held on Sunday, September 1-3, 2020 from 5:30 am. to 10.-00 a.m. at Attaquin
<br /> Park. Social distancing will be maintained at all times until participants ar e sitt ing in their shefl and upon
<br /> disembarkation.
<br /> All applicable regulatory officials have signed off on- the application. It is anticipated there would be 25 boats
<br /> with one or two persons rowing. The race is planned by invitation only. All- participants will be 21 years or
<br /> older. If the race is a success 5 it is hopeful it would be planned for subsequent years.
