In the event of a declaration <br /> of an emergency, the Town shall be exempt from. the Bylaw for a period of 7 calendar days after such <br /> declaration. It was agreed that clarification and improved language would be requested from the petitioners. <br /> Article#1.2: To Prohibit the Use of Personal Watercrafts on Ashumet Pond <br /> Motion made by Selectman Sherman to include and support Article #12 for placement on the October <br /> Town Meeting warrant. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Gottlieb. <br /> Discussion followed. There was objection. to the proposed restrictions on the use of public property and for <br /> taking away a use that exists today on someone's property. Enforcement was deemed the key. <br /> Without this action, the Town of Mashpee has no, legal standing to enforce the Town of Falmouth's bylaw. <br /> VOTE: 4-1.
