The project
includes the extension of the multi-use path, construction of a sidewalk, the reconfiguration of
intersections/upgrades of traffic signals, improvement of drainage and the repaving of the road.
Construction is funded through state and federal monies. In the design process, the 100' right of way
was surveyed. A number of encroachments from private properties lie within the Town's right-of-
way, and there is no record of licenses being granted by the Town for signage, lighting, irrigation and
landscape features currently within the right-of-way.
It is recommended the Board vote to issue a license for the encroachments which are impacted by the
Route 151 Corridor Improvement Project.
