After a period of one year after the renovation of the club, and with
the COVID pandemic it is deemed appropriate to make a special change for the New Seabury Country
Club from public to private membership only.
The amendment would change the license from a §12 Restaurant to a §12 Club License in which the
establishment may serve alcoholic beverages only to the members of the club, and their guests subject to
the regulations of the Local Licensing Authority.
The change does not include the Popponesset Inn or The Lure which will remain open to the public.
There was no public comment. The Board of Selectmen acted as follows.
